Ford Super Duty F-250 Safety Review

2019 F-250: Performance Specs & Capabilities

Ford F-250You’ll have your choice of two engine options in the 2019 F-250. The standard powerplant, a 6.2L V8 engine, offers 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. That’s enough to get this truck moving around town or on the highway, but for towing, you’ll like the extra heft of the available turbodiesel engine.

It’s a 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 engine, and it cranks out 450 horsepower and an impressive 935 lb-ft of torque. That’s enough to tow up to 18,000 pounds (conventionally) with the proper configuration. You’ll have the power to trailer a large boat or even a toy hauler in your wake!

Technology for Your Productivity

The Ford Super Duty F-250 is one of the hardest-working pickup trucks around, and it offers plenty of tech features to make the job easier. One of those features is BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert and Trailer Tow, which can detect vehicles in your truck’s and your trailer’s blind spots.

You’ll get a signal in the outside mirror when a vehicle is detected, so you can change lanes more securely. The Cross-Traffic Alert function (truck only) can detect a vehicle passing behind you as you’re slowly backing up.
